Prayer Prompts for Thanksgiving

ree

As I explained in an earlier post, the original thanksgiving by the Pilgrims was not a day of feasting, but a day to fast and look to the Lord.  Bring a focus back on God by including some family prayer as part of your meal.  Here are some suggested prayer prompts that you can use to guide you and your family - as suggested the sheet below, include your kids in the prayer by asking each of them to state one item on the table for which they are thankful or ask them to pray for a sick friend or missing family member.

For more information on this, see my original post at: https://brunkle1990.wixsite.com/website-3/post/the-religious-roots-of-thanksgiving
