Decorations to focus on the love of Christ

ree

Focus any decorations on the Lord so that anyone who comes to your home during the month knows that you celebrate Jesus.  I make a simple heart garland that spells out the text of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a.  I also hang a wreath made of hearts with individual Scriptures written on them about our command to love God.  The Scripture hearts are glued together in a wreath shape and hung on my front door.  Scriptures you can use for this: Psalm 37:4, Psalm 119:11, Leviticus 19:18, Mark 12:30, 1 John 4:19, 1 Corinthians 13:4, 1 John 4:7, and Romans 12:9.
